Nestled in a quiet location on Ilha Grande, Pousada Do Canto exudes charm and tranquility. Just 500 meters from the bustling island center, this guest house strikes a balance between convenience and seclusion. the room, tastefully decorated with colorful regional ornaments, allowed us to watch the fishermen boats dance on the crystal-clear waters, providing an authentic Brazilian coastal experience that was truly mesmerizing. Breakfast was a delightful affair, featuring a variety of tropical fruits, freshly baked bread, and delectable cakes. the friendly staff, particularly Alessandra, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, turning simple moments like teatime or breakfast into unforgettable memories of Brazilian hospitality. The room itself was a cozy retreat equipped with modern amenities such as a TV, minibar, and a private bathroom. the air conditioning worked like a charm, a welcome respite from the tropical heat, allowing us to relax and rejuvenate after a day of exploring the island's hidden gems. Every interaction with the staff was marked by warmth and genuine care, reflecting the essence of Brazilian hospitality. Pousada Do Canto is not just a place to stay; It's a sanctuary where the essence of Brazil's natural beauty and heartfelt hospitality converge. I left with a heavy heart, already counting down the days until I can return to this idyllic paradise on Ilha Grande, perhaps with companions who share my passion for sustainable travel and immersive experiences in Brazil's pristine ecosystems.
